When my Taiwanese guest Ya-Chen came into my flat for a few days it was like traveling to Asia. She cooked a lot with us, for us and I always enjoyed when she was sitting with us to tell funny and interesting stories about Taiwan and her childhood.
My dear guest Zäzilie from the netherlands wrote me because she was traveling to Berlin and liked to meet up with another vegan. Actually that nice Dutch girl was raised as a vegetarian. She never had eaten meat in her life, which I found pretty impressive! What great parents Zäzilie must have.
This time my wonderful “vegan cooking journey” led me to Sweden. My lovely teacher was Leila – a young vegan, Swedish girl, who taught me how it tastes to be a vegan in her country.
Oh it was such a French, such a delicious evening accomponied by jumping and leg climbing foster kittens who also desperately wanted to try the French & vegan cuisine. My French guest Astrid showed me how to make one of the Frenchest dishes you can imagine – Quiche Lorraine.
My Paraguayan kitchen guest Rodrigo wasn´t the first time in Berlin. He just loves the city he told me. “There are so many possibilities for vegans. It´s so easy to be vegan in Berlin.”
In my article “Italian & Vegan: Panforte” I told you allready that my Italian guest Mattia lives in Peru. And because he´s such a good cook I asked him to teach me a typical Peruvian dish as well.

Finnish Suvi (vegan) and her friend Annika (also Finnish, interested and experienced in vegan cuisine) were very funny to cook with. Those Finnish girls came into my kitchen and invited me to experience the very delicious Finnish cuisine. We had a lot of fun making those dishes!!
