If you think of Belgium and food – you don´t need long to think about waffels. But there is another delicious dessert Belgium is famous for – chocolate! And that´s the reason why three girls in my kitchen shouted out: “Let´s make something with chocolate for dessert!”
My belgian guest Nathalie knew the right recipe for our “dessert-dream” – Cholocolate Mousse:
- 3 bars of dark vegan chocolate (or 1 to 2 panel(s))
- 800g silken tofu
- some soy milk
- some agave nectar (or maple syrup, of course you can use sugar as well)
Melt the chocolate with some soy milk in a pot. Set aside. Stir in the silken tofu.
Add some agave nectar to taste. (You could also add some vanilla.) Use a hand blender to make it smooth and creamy. Put in the fridge for about half an hour.
